FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When do I need to get in touch to book design time?
3 months in advance of when you wish to start any project at least is advised as design slots get booked in advance.
How early do I need to send out my invitations
Traditionally invitations are sent 3-6 months before your wedding to guests. So allow at least 3 months before that for design time.
How long does the whole wedding invite process take?
It can take anywhere from 6-8 weeks depending on detail and work involved for bespoke invitations and anywhere from 2-4 weeks for the studio collection invitations – click HERE for a break down of the process.
Do you create any other wedding stationery?
Yes, we do! We can create anything you need for your on the day stationery needs. From seating charts to name place cards. You name it!
What is foiling?
Foiling is a technique whereby a thin film of metallic or foil is impressed onto a document using a die (or stamp). It creates an elegant and eye-catching shiny metalic effect that simply cannot be replicated using standard printing.
Which is the most cost effective option if my budget doesn’t allow for specialised finishes?
If you have multiple events and are not inviting every guest to all the events, I would recommend a belly band invitation. The belly band will keep all the inserts together still look elegant and with colour print only this also keeps costs down.
How much deposit do you take?
I usually take a 20% deposit before I begin any design work. A further 30% is taken once the artwork has been approved and is ready to be sent to print. The remainder of the balance is paid on delivery.
Do you offer a postage service?
We are based in North London so if you would like to collect your invitations from us we are happy for you to do so. However, we do offer a postage service. All orders are sent signed for and tracked. Postage fees will vary as each order has different specifications. You will be given an estimation of the cost to start and will be billed accordingly with the final payment.
